Kora coordinates non-formal education projects with Erasmus + and with the European Solidarity Corps, such as training courses, youth exchanges and volunteering projects on various topics in Europe, Southeast Asia and Latin America.<br>It is based on La Buona Terra school farm, the first educational farm in Italy, with over 30 years of experience in working with children, young people and adults of all ages. La Buona Terra produces organic olive oil, essential oils of various aromatic herbs, and offers environmental education for groups of all ages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The volunteers will support the staff members in the following tasks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Organisation, logistics and intercultural animation of local events aimed at promoting local food products<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cooking intercultural tastings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Leading traditional dances workshops<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Leading non formal education workshops about intercultural traditions,\u00a0environmental sustainability, and food awareness<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Communication: taking pictures and videos, social media coverage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Available for the whole duration of the project<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>18-30 years old<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Resident in EU member states, Italy included, Ukraine and Georgia<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ready to live in an intercultural context in a rural area, where the closest town with facilities is at 20 minutes on foot<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good time management, flexibility, patience, open-mindedness, team-work. This is the first time that Kora collaborates in the organisation of these events, so several things will have to be figured out in progress, and volunteers with such attitudes and skills will definitely represent a plus<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Basic level in English<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Previous education and volunteering\/working experiences in the described activities are welcome but not necessary<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Driving license is welcome but not necessary.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note that Kora and La Buona Terra\u2019s main priorities are sharing life in a rural intercultural context, including responsible work and mature behaviour.
