The Ctrl + Find Your Digital Self exchange took place on 2–9 October 2025 in Markutiškės (Lithuania). Our base was La Villa Royale — a place where learning and nature come together.
Petrklíč help, z.s. took part as a partner organisation: we accompanied the national team, supported communications, and are preparing to share the materials developed with our community.
The exchange focused on mindful engagement with the digital world: the roles of media in information, education, and entertainment; and the development of self-awareness, critical thinking, and digital self-management. In a learning-by-doing format, participants worked on their online habits, analysed content, practised safe behaviours, and prepared mini-projects to implement at home.
What we discussed and did
- mindful use of digital platforms instead of passive scrolling
- interactive activities on media hygiene and digital literacy
- individual “digital detox” settings (priorities, privacy, time online)
- team tasks on digital ethics and responsible communication
- daily reflection circles and planning of personal next steps
Outcomes for participants
- personal rules for digital hygiene and individual action plans
- materials for mini-workshops and basic checklists for schools, clubs, and youth centres
- ideas for local initiatives and new partnerships for future projects
