Two long-term European Solidarity Corps (ESC) volunteering positions are available in the Baden-WΓΌrttemberg region of Germany. Both projects focus on social and community care β ideal for motivated young people who want to make a real difference while living abroad.

The Johannes Brenz Altenpflege gGmbH is a modern, tradition-rooted organisation in Wolfach providing comprehensive support to elderly people and their families. Guided by Christian diaconal principles, their services include assisted living, outpatient home care, day care, short-term care, and meals on wheels. Wolfach is a charming small town in the Black Forest, near the French border and the city of Strasbourg.

The Oberried Citizens’ Association (BGO) addresses a wide range of social tasks and supports residents in need in the municipality of Oberried. The organisation promotes cross-generational, solidarity-based civic engagement, involving citizens, churches, and local associations. Volunteers will be accommodated in Freiburg, a vibrant university city near the borders of France and Switzerland.

- Young people with fewer opportunities in terms of education
- Communicative level of English
- Open-minded, creative, responsible, and enjoy working with elderly people
- Not eligible: university graduates (Bachelor/Master) or current university students
