Youth Exchange on managing learning & preparation for the labour market
A practical Erasmus+ youth exchange focused on learning-to-learn and employability skills: discovering your strengths, building a personal learning strategy, and preparing for the labour market in an international team.

👥 Who can join?
- Young people: 18–25 years, no Erasmus+ experience required, no specific English level required
- Group leader: 18+, previous Erasmus+ experience required, advanced English required
- Important: You must be a national of your sending country or legally reside there with a valid residence permit
🧠 What you’ll do
- Getting to know each other & group dynamics (trust, cohesion, safe learning space)
- Discovering your vocational DNA (TPVM-P framework: talents, passions, values, motivations, personality)
- Managing your learning & growth (goals, growth mindset, lifelong learning strategy)
- AI-supported career exploration (guided ChatGPT prompt + critical thinking)
- From skills to opportunities (CV lab, transferable skills, job/learning platforms)
- Job hunting & interview preparation (simulations, role play, feedback)
- Intercultural evenings (mandatory) + optional evening activities
Mindset: this is a learning experience, not a holiday. Active participation is expected.
🏨 Accommodation & what to bring
- Venue: Complex Albatros (Șoseaua Chiciului 7, Călărași) – Danube river bank, beach access
- Rooms are double/triple; room layouts vary (you may share a large double bed with a same-gender participant)
- Breakfast/lunch/dinner provided (dietary needs from the application form)
- Bring: reusable water bottle, toiletries, flip-flops, beach towel, swimwear, mosquito repellent
✈️ Travel, meeting point & reimbursement (CZ)
- Recommended airport: Henri Coandă International Airport (OTP), Bucharest
- Pick-up: Bucharest – Piața Constituției (in front of the Palace of Parliament) on 17 April at 18:00, then a private bus to the venue
- From OTP to pick-up: bus 100 to Piața Unirii, then ~10 min walk (buy ticket at the machine to get a receipt)
- CZ travel budget cap: up to 279 EUR (distance band 500–1999 km)
- Important: keep all travel documents (tickets, boarding passes, invoices PDFs). Physical docs are collected on the first morning + reimbursement form filled together
- Not covered: taxi / Uber / Bolt
🛡️ Preparation & insurance
- Each national team prepares a few short energisers (you’ll get guidance in an online prep meeting)
- Intercultural evening: bring creative cultural items (costs for items are not reimbursed)
- Health insurance is mandatory. Recommended: EHIC (European Health Insurance Card)
