Tereza Bugošová

I come from a small village called Stanislavice near Český Těšín. I’m currently in my fourth year at the Business Academy in Třinec, specializing in public administration. In my free time, I love drawing, painting, reading, listening to music, spending time in nature, and driving.

I joined the Erasmus+ program thanks to our teacher who offered us the opportunity to take part in an Erasmus exchange to Lithuania.

My biggest motivation was to visit a new country, get to know its culture, and see how the Erasmus program actually works. Lithuania was also my first Erasmus experience.

What I enjoyed the most was discovering the beauty of Lithuania – its nature and traditions. My favorite memory is a walk through Vilnius with our Czech group. We were amazed by the historic buildings and by how many churches there are in the city – almost on every corner!

Erasmus showed me that all Slavic countries share similar traditions, but at the same time, they are quite different from the Baltic and Balkan ones.

I believe that everyone who has the chance to join an Erasmus exchange should definitely go for it – not only to visit another country but also to meet lots of amazing people who make the whole experience truly unforgettable.
